Out for a drive on NM 14? A great stop along the Turquoise Trail is the Casa Grande Trading Post, Petting Zoo & Cerrillos Turquoise Mining Museum. This 28 room adobe building houses a gift shop with many unique items that include handmade sterling silver jewelry with rare Cerrillos turquoise, rocks & minerals, antique bottles, insulators and barbwire. The Cerrillos Turquoise Mining Museum has local history displays, dioramas, a large mineral collection and mining antiques of the area. The Petting Zoo contains several goats, a friendly llama, fancy chickens, and pigeons. This is the perfect place to stop with the family on your day trip adventure! Petting Zoo is free to visit & animal food is available for purchase inside the gift shop.

We are a world famous stop along the Turquoise Trail National Scenic Byway (NM highway 14) located in the village of Cerrillos, New Mexico.
